Scheduled maintenance

Have a planned maintenance event for your network, Wi-Fi, or other systems not actively monitored by StatusGator? You can now notify your staff easily using our Scheduled Maintenance feature!

Here’s how to use it:

1. Navigate to the scheduled maintenance option

Go to your Incidents page and click the Schedule Maintenance button in the upper-right corner.

2. Enter maintenance details

On the next page, provide the following information: 

  • Name of the maintenance. 
  • Description of what will occur. 
  • Start and End Time of the maintenance window. 
  • Affected Monitors (services impacted).

3. Additional options 

  • Choose whether the maintenance should be resolved automatically by checking the appropriate checkbox. 
  • Notify your status page subscribers about the maintenance. 
  • Set up a reminder to alert users before the maintenance begins.

4. Schedule it

  • Once all details are filled in, click Schedule maintenance to finalize.
  • After scheduling, the maintenance will be displayed under the Scheduled maintenance tab on the Incidents page. 
  • When the maintenance begins, it will move to the Ongoing tab
  • Once resolved, it will appear in the Incidents history tab.

With this feature, you can keep your team and subscribers informed, ensuring smooth communication during planned downtime!
