Incident IQ integration
The StatusGator integration with Incident IQ enables you to automatically create tickets in your Incident IQ system whenever someone reports an outage via your StatusGator status page. This ensures IT and service management teams can quickly respond to disruptions reported by your users.
What the integration does
Once set up, this integration automatically:
Creates a new ticket in your Incident IQ account whenever a user reports an outage via your public StatusGator page.
Includes relevant outage details within the Incident IQ ticket for easy triage and resolution.
Keeps your support workflows centralized within Incident IQ.
How to set up the integration
To enable this integration, follow the steps below:
1. Log in to your StatusGator account
2. Navigate to the Incident IQ integration settings
Go to Integrations in your dashboard.
Select Incident IQ from the list of available integrations (helpdesk category).
3. Enter the required fields
You’ll need the following information from your Incident IQ account. Enter these values into the corresponding fields in StatusGator:
Site ID | Your Incident IQ site identifier. Usually found in your IIQ admin settings. |
Product ID | The ID representing the product/service in Incident IQ to associate tickets. |
Domain | Your Incident IQ domain, e.g., yourdistrict.incidentiq.com . |
Token | API token from Incident IQ for authentication. |
4. Save and activate
Click Save to connect Incident IQ with StatusGator.
The integration should now be active and ready to use.
Note: Be sure to enable the checkbox in your status page settings to allow users to report outages directly from your StatusGator page.
Verifying the integration
To ensure the integration is working:
Report a test outage via your StatusGator status page.
Check your Incident IQ account for a newly created ticket.
Confirm the ticket includes the outage details and is routed correctly.
