Status page analytics
Analytics help you understand how your status page is being used and how effectively it communicates with your audience. StatusGator offers built-in analytics as well as the ability to integrate with third-party tools such as Google Analytics.
StatusGator analytics
From the Analytics tab in your status page settings, you can track key insights, including:
- Total views – The total number of visits to your status page.
- Daily average views – The average number of visits per day.
- New subscribers – How many people signed up to receive updates from your status page.
- Outage reports – The number of outage reports submitted by your users.
- Trends over time – A line graph that shows how page views change over the last 30 days.
These insights give you a quick overview of audience engagement and the reach of your incident communication.
Third-party analytics
For deeper insights, you can connect your own analytics platform.
Currently, StatusGator supports Google Analytics 4. To set this up:
- Go to the Third-party analytics tab.
- Enter your Google Analytics Tracking ID (format:
G-XXXXXXXXXX). - Click Save.
All visits to your status page will now be tracked in your Google Analytics account, allowing you to combine traffic and engagement insights with the rest of your website metrics.
